Let's begin with today's tasks. We are going to work on English and Social Sciences.

ENGLISH

The aims for today's lesson are:

- Identify the features of a newspaper article.

- Review and using so to connect sentences

- Plan and write a newspaper article.

To do so, first I want you to read page 57 from your pupil's book and think about the answers for the questions that you find in activities number 1 and 3. You don't have to write them down.

Once you have done this, go to page 54 in your activity book and complete activities 1, 2, 3 and 4. The objective is to plan and write your own newspaper article. You can write the newspaper article in your notebook or if you want to do something cooler you can use the following link: https://newspaper.jaguarpaw.co.uk/

SOCIAL SCIENCES

Today, in Social Sciences we are going to learn about important artistic movements of the 20th and 21st centuries.

- Read pages 30 and 31.

- If you want to learn more about important artists of the 20th century watch this video:

Then, search on the Internet the answers to the following questions:

- When did the attack on Guernica take place? -What does the painting symbolise?

- Where is the painting now and when did it arrive there?

- Do activity 4 page 31. Create a Power Point presentation with the information that you have found.
